Eunbi Kim is originally from South Korea. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree at Chonnam National University, and her Master’s Degree at University of Oklahoma, where she was a student of Dr. Jonathan Ruck and received the Oklahoma Community Foundation scholarship. Most recently, she earned her doctoral degree in cello performance with Professor Dennis Parker at Louisiana State University, where she held a teaching assistantship and was a recipient of the Oral Mery Yong Scholarship. Eunbi has taken master classes with Gary Hoffman and Helga Winold at LSU. She is a lover of chamber and orchestral music, and an enthusiastic educator in the areas of cello and string methods. She is now working and playing in New Jersey and New York City.
