Jacob Nordlinger is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Julia Lichten, while also performing and teaching throughout the New York City area. Jacob has a passion for chamber music and, recently, his string quartet won first prize in the Ruth Widder String Quartet Competition at Manhattan School of Music. He has also been a past winner of the Yonkers Philharmonic Concerto Competition, Wagner College Young Artist Competition, and the Fuchs Chamber Music Competition. Jacob has performed throughout New York in venues such as Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, The National Arts Club, and the United Nations. He has attended festivals including the Music Academy of the West, the Banff Centre, and the Heifetz International Music Institute. In February 2017, Jacob joined the faculty of the VerArte String Academy in Arequipa, Peru.
