Tyler Wes is a clarinet instructor and performer in the Tampa Bay area. He currently holds substitute positions with the Gainesville Orchestra, The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra, Pensacola Symphony, and The Imperial Symphony. During his school career, Tyler has performed with many ensembles, including The University of Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra, where they have played many operas and a full production of Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker. He is also involved with the University of Oklahoma Wind Symphony, Accademia Filharmonia Orchestra, Missoula Symphony Orchestra, University of Montana Symphony Orchestra, and University of Montana Wind Symphony. Tyler has been a guest clinician at several high schools in Oklahoma and Florida, including Riverview High School. Tyler holds a Bachelor in Music from the University of Montana (MT), and a Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. His teachers have included Dr. Suzanne Tirk (University of Oklahoma), Dr. Maxine Ramey (University of Montana), and Dr. Christopher Kirkpatrick (University of Montana).
