Leonardo Lebas,


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Leonardo Lebas is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina and is an active conductor, composer, and educator. Dr. Lebas has conducted elementary, middle school, high school, university, community and professional orchestras and choirs in the United States and abroad.   Prior to joining Harmony Program, he was Music Director of Life is Precious El Sistema-inspired Music Program.  Life Is Precious is a non-profit organization devoted to preventing suicide in Latina teens from NYC.  In Spring 2007, he spent three months as a composer-conductor in residence at the Conservatorio de las Rosas in Michoacán, Morelia, Mexico, supported by a UNESCO-Aschberg Fellowship.  During this time, he was the conductor and composer-in residence of the Conservatory choral ensemble – La Coral del Conservatorio.  His works have received international awards and have been published by Ediciones GCC, Argentina, and InDiCCEx, Spain.  



Antonio Truyols,


As an internationally performing pianist and composer, Antonio Truyols has enraptured audiences across four continents from an incredibly young age. His performance credits include multiple appearances at the French Embassy in Washington D.C., and feature performances in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, and across the United States in the jazz and classical genres. His work, whether it be in jazz, popular music, film music, or concert composition, reflects the unique blend of his Spanish, Peruvian, and Puerto Rican heritage.
