Cole Belt’s passion for collaborative music-making has led to his participation in several distinguished chamber ensembles throughout his career, including Duo Velocipede, Impression Saxophone Ensemble, and Singularity. As a member of these ensembles, Cole has performed in concert halls across the U.S. and Europe in masterclass settings, music festival residencies, chamber music series, and guest artist recitals. Cole’s orchestral experience includes performances with the New World Symphony, National Music Festival Orchestra, Hot Springs Festival Orchestra, Taneycomo Festival Orchestra, and the Pensacola Symphony. He has also been a chamber saxophonist in residence at the National Music Festival, Music in the Mountains Festival, and the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra, where he was the director of orchestral and chamber saxophone for three years. Cole is a D’Addario Performing Artist/Clinician and uses Reserve Classic Reeds exclusively.

Thomas Giles, Urban Assembly School for Emergency Management
Dr. Thomas Giles is a woodwind specialist and the first saxophone instructor for the Harmony Program. As a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player, Giles has been featured by DownBeat Magazine, NPR’s nationally broadcasted Performance Today, and in concert venues such as Carnegie Hall, Nußloch Kulturzentrum (Germany), Bartholomeus Gashuis (Netherlands), St. Andrews University (Scotland), Cité de la Musique (France), and Ogólnoksztalcąca Muzyczna (Poland). Since joining the critically-acclaimed Mana Quartet in 2012, he has traveled the United States and Europe on extensive concert tours and taught workshops at dozens of universities and high schools. Based in Brooklyn, NY, he enjoys teaching a wide variety of levels and instruments in his private studio and beyond.
