On December 9th, the Harmony Program Youth Orchestra (HPYO) held its winter concert for 150 guests at St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Manhattan. The audience enjoyed performances by the Concert Orchestra; the All Stars String Orchestra; a chamber ensemble featuring students Savannah and Alondra; and a performance of holiday favorite, “Sleighride,” by Harmony Program teaching artists.

The program featured a diverse range of compositions, including classical works by Mozart and Vivaldi; a traditional Mexican folk song, “Cielito Lindo” (Lovely Sweet One); and our signature piece, “Harmony,” written for us by television and film composer, Jeff Beal.
