Welcome Katherine Dorosh-Walther, our new Senior Manager of Ensembles and Partnerships. A violinist, educator, and arts administrator, Katherine brings her passion for sharing the joy of music to young people across New York City. Trained as a violinist in Venezuela’s El Sistema and a former member of the Simón Bolívar Orchestra, she has led youth ensembles inspired by that philosophy and is dedicated to helping young people build discipline, confidence, and experience the transformative power of making music together.
Welcome Lauren Hobbs, our new Manager of School Partnerships. Lauren has designed and led impactful music programs across New York City, including the choral program at Hudson Yards Middle School and the programs at Honors Network Choir. A graduate of NYU, she has also toured internationally with the vocal ensemble Magnum Opus. Lauren is passionate about building high-performing, inclusive music classrooms where all students can thrive.
Welcome Danny King, our new Manager of School Partnerships. An accomplished educator, performer, and arts administrator, Danny holds a bachelor’s degree in clarinet performance and music education from Illinois State University and a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music. He has taught band and general music, coached young musicians, and performed widely as a musician with ensembles across New York City.
