Harmony Students and Alumni Perform in New York Philharmonic Festival Youth Orchestra

Harmony Program students and alumni recently performed in the New York Philharmonic Festival Youth Orchestra, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Harmony students Dana and Brook (viola) were selected, along with Harmony alumnus Ryan (double bass), to play in this 80 piece student ensemble. The concert took place on April 26th at the Concert Hall of LaGuardia High School and featured young musicians from a variety of New York City-based music education organizations. Ryan also represented the Harmony Program at the New York Philharmonic’s gala on April 25th, performing with the Philharmonic under Maestro Dudamel at Lincoln Center’s Geffen Hall.
