Recent Winter Concerts

February has been filled with music, growth, and pride across New York City as Harmony Program students showcased their musical progress.

On February 6th, our wind and brass students (pictured above) performed works, from Haydn and Higgins to Caribbean folk music at the St. Paul & St. Andrew Church on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The same day, violin, viola, and cello students at P.S. 124 in Chinatown played pieces by Bach and Tallis along with American folk songs. On February 12th, choral and string students at P.S. 346 in Canarsie, Brooklyn took the stage to play Mozart and traditional works like “Boil ‘Em Cabbage Down.”

These are just a few of the recitals taking place this month and next. Stay tuned for details on our choral and orchestra performances on Saturday, March 28th!
