Published On: February 9, 2023

All of us at Harmony Program are thrilled that Gustavo Dudamel was appointed music director of the New York Philharmonic! This New York Times piece gives Harmony a shoutout when highlighting Dudamel’s commitment to expanding access to music education. Our students — including Luigi, who is quoted in the article and pictured below — have had the thrill of playing under his baton in NYC, LA, and Mexico City. We look forward to more opportunities for NYC kids upon his arrival in 2026!
