The 2023-2024 Harmony Program Youth Orchestra (HPYO) season is in full swing with the launch of this year’s Young Artist Program and Chamber Ensembles. These ensembles, together with the Concert Orchestra in Manhattan and Creative Ensemble in the Bronx, make up the Harmony Program’s borough-based system of youth orchestras.

The Young Artist Program  is an advanced group of twenty-five students, selected by audition. Our Young Artist musicians will play in our Concert Orchestra and String Orchestra, receive private lessons, and participate in an online music composition class. They will also have the opportunity to audition and receive scholarships for prestigious summer music programs this year.

Our Chamber Ensembles program selected seventeen students who will perform in two string quartets, a string trio, a string duet, and a viola quartet.

All of our orchestras and ensembles will perform recitals throughout the 2023-2024 HPYO season.
