About

The 2025 Harmony Program Summer Camp is a free, immersive, three-week, ensemble-based music program for New York City K-12 instrumentalists and singers of all levels. The camp will take place at The Juilliard School from July 28, 2025 to August 15, 2025, with classes led by Harmony Program teaching artists.

Eligible students with no prior musical experience may apply for our “Rhythm Rookies” program (one week). All other programs require students to participate for all three-weeks of the camp. Students may audition for any of our instrumental or choral ensembles based on their level of experience and age. Please see below for our full eligibility requirements, as well as the complete ensemble descriptions.

Please contact programs@harmonyprogram.org with any questions.

Eligibility

All students must complete an application and submit it before the deadlines. Harmony Program students and alumni do not have guaranteed admission to the program after the priority deadline has passed. All Students must meet eligibility requirements and will be accepted into available spots according to the results of their audition.

In the music industry, audition processes are designed to assess each musician’s proficiency and place them in roles best suited to their abilities. Similarly, Harmony Program reserves the right to place students in the summer camp ensemble most appropriate for their skill levels. Summer camp placements are determined independently of previous placements from Harmony’s school year or summer camp programs. This reflects a broader applicant pool and a fresh audition process, mirroring the industry standard of evaluating each applicant anew for each opportunity.

Please note that grade (25-26 School Year) and experience requirements are not exact, these are merely guidelines.

Final ensemble placements will be determined based on auditions.
